Conference on sexual abuse

The Ethics Committee of the Hôtel-Dieu de France, the psychiatry and pediatrics department of the Faculty of Medicine of Saint Joseph University and of the Hôtel-Dieu de France organized, under the high patronage of the Minister of Health, held a conference on sexual abuse.

The event took place on Thursday, April 28 at the Nadège and Henri Obégi Auditorium at HDF and was moderated by Michel Scheuer s.j. During the conference, Dr. Mathieu Lacambre, psychiatrist from the University Hospital of Montpellier in France, had an intervention on sexual violence prevention.

Furthermore, Dr. Bernard Gerbaka, pediatrician at the Hôtel-Dieu de France presented a multidisciplinary and institutional approach to child sexual abuse. A Q&A session followed the conference.
