Vice President of the Al-Walid bin Talal Foundation, former Minister Leila Solh Hamadé, visited Hôtel-Dieu de France Hospital in Achrafieh, where she met a number of sick children as part of the cooperation agreement between the Al-Walid bin Talal Foundation and the Lebanese Association for Children with Kidney Diseases (Kidneeds), led by Dr. Pauline Abou Jaoudé, as well as children from the HeartBeat association, which focuses on the treatment of children with congenital malformation or heart and chronic diseases, led by Dr. Ramzi Ashoush.

The visit took place in the presence of the President of Saint Joseph University, Father Salim Daccache, the hospital Director, Nassib Nasr, and hospital officials, as well as a number of doctors and nurses.

Minister Solh's first stop was with children suffering from renal problems, where she inquired about their condition and spoke with their doctors and families. She then received gifts from the children of the Kidneeds association, expressing their gratitude for the support of the Al-Walid bin Talal Foundation.

Afterward, Minister Solh inspected the neonatal unit, where she met with the children from the HeartBeat association. "Today, we remember the year 2006 when we used to perform between twenty and thirty surgical operations. Since then, thanks to the personal support of Mrs. Solh, we now perform between 300 and 400 operations every year. On behalf of these children, thank you, thank you," said Dr. Ramzi Ashoush. / Following that, Minister Solh conducted a thorough inspection of the neonatal unit, where she had the opportunity to meet with the children from the HeartBeat association. Dr. Ramzi Ashoush expressed his gratitude, stating, "Today, we reflect on the year 2006 when we were able to carry out only twenty to thirty surgical operations. However, thanks to the personal support of Mrs. Solh, we now perform an impressive range of 300 to 400 operations each year. On behalf of these children, we extend our heartfelt appreciation and offer our sincerest thanks."

Expressing her steadfast support for both associations, the Minister stated, "Saving a life is akin to saving the entire world, and at the Al-Walid bin Talal Foundation and Hôtel-Dieu de France Hospital, we are committed to this noble cause. Wishing everyone a joyful Christmas, and may God restore the health of our ailing children, allowing them to swiftly reunite with their families."
