The Gynecology and Abnormal Placentations Department at Hôtel-Dieu de France, headed by Professor David Atallah, is proud to announce exceptional recognition from the European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO). As the first ESGO-accredited center for advanced ovarian cancer surgery in the Middle East region, this achievement is a testament to dedication, expertise and excellence in care.

ESGO accreditation, valid for a period of 5 years, is tangible proof of the quality of care that the Hôtel-Dieu de France team offers to ovarian cancer patients. It is a well-deserved recognition of the constant efforts to provide top-quality care and achieve significant advances in the field of gynecological oncology.

Prof David Atallah, Head of the Gynecology and Abnormal Placentations Department, expressed his gratitude to all those who had contributed to this success: "The accreditation we have received is the fruit of the support of the entire team, which has enabled us to flourish and develop within this hospital."

During a ceremony to celebrate the achievement, Mr. Nassib Nasr, General Manager of the USJ-HDF hospital network, warmly congratulated the entire team, saying, "It's a subject that motivates the teams, the doctors, the management and all those who work within this department to offer better support. It's important, and I hope it will have a contagious effect."

Prof  Elie Nemr, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at USJ, extends his sincere congratulations to Professor Atallah and the entire team, saying, "I am proud to be part of this outstanding team, and I am convinced that this recognition will strengthen our position as a leader in the field of gynecologic oncology in the Middle East."

Prof Georges Dabar, Director of Medical Affairs, reveals his admiration for their remarkable achievements: "This accreditation is above all for the patients. And for our residents, our students and for Hôtel-Dieu de France.

Prof Salim Daccache s.j., Rector of USJ and Chairman of the Administrative Council of HDF, expressed his warm congratulations to Pr. David Atallah and his entire team for their exemplary expertise and dedication: "Excellence and quality are not just about certification, but above all a humble act.
