Against a backdrop of increasing mental distress and the growing complexity of situations encountered in emergency departments, Hôtel-Dieu de France organized a scientific day devoted to the critical issues of emergency psychiatry, bringing together healthcare professionals, mental health experts and players from the psychosocial sector.

The event provided a forum for interdisciplinary reflection on the management of psychiatric crises.

The day was marked by rich exchanges and presentations on key themes such as the management of suicidal crises, behavioral disorders in emergency situations, voluntary intoxication,

and cooperation between medical, psychiatric and social services.

This initiative testifies to Hôtel-Dieu de France's ongoing commitment to improving the reception, assessment and care of patients in psychiatric crisis situations, by promoting dialogue between the various players involved in care.
