HDF Colloquium on IBD: Inflammatory Bowel Disease
As part of its scientific activities, Hôtel-Dieu de France organized a colloquium on chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) on May 19, 2021, targeting all healthcare professionals.
This successful event brought together several health professionals from various specialties who shared their expertise on the various diagnosis methods of IBD as well as the recently treated cases.
Many topics were discussed such as diagnostic techniques, medical management apart from extraintestinal manifestations, surgical management (resection, ostomy, stricturoplasty, drainage), rheumatologic management of joint damage and dermatologic management of skin manifestations. The colloquium ended with a satellite symposium sponsored by Janssen Pharmaceuticals highlighting the latest studies on “STELARA” and its efficiency in treating IBD.
