Hôtel-Dieu de France announce the launch of a new non-emergency ambulance transportation service, "HDF Transport," dedicated to the HDF-USJ Hospital Network starting from May 7, 2024. This service is specifically designed to meet the needs of all patients in Lebanon who require non-urgent ambulance transportation.

From now on, a team is available to provide private professional assistance, whether it's for returning home after hospitalization, transferring between different network facilities, transferring to another healthcare facility, or accompanying scheduled medical appointments. It is important to note that this service does not replace existing services in the country and is not intended for medical emergencies.

The team is available from Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM by contacting 01-604 000 extension 7799, to address any questions, receive requests, and arrange transportation as quickly as possible. Please share this information and make our patients aware of this new ambulance service.

Under the theme “Introspective variations on 50 years of medical life”, Prof. Khalil Kharrat gave a lecture at the N. et H. Obegi auditorium, bringing together health professionals, members of the medical and administrative staff, as well as his family members and some of his friends.

Prof. Kharrat shared his knowledge and his 50-year career of work and dedication, offering enriching perspectives on medicine.

In addition, he highlighted the presence of inspirational figures within our HDF community, personalities who have made remarkable and unique achievements, leaving an indelible mark on the hospital's history.

An exceptional Lebanese day was organized in Paris, by the French National Academy of Medicine, with the theme "Franco-Lebanese relations in the medical and scientific fields", highlighting successful collaborations .

In celebration of Easter, the spiritual team at Hôtel-Dieu de France orchestrated a special commemoration at the "Notre-Dame de Tendresse" chapel, creating a profound atmosphere of devotion and reflection.

The celebrations began with a Palm Sunday mass conducted by Father Alain Elias on Sunday, March 24th, establishing an atmosphere of reverence and solemnity among those present.

On the other hand, the Holy Week concluded with a poignant Good Friday (Holy Friday) mass led by Father Elias Daou on Friday, March 29th. The prayers exchanged during this ceremony were filled with profound reflection, echoing the collective sentiments of the congregation.

The most memorable event of the week was the Resurrection Mass conducted by Father Alain Elias on Saturday, March 30th, characterized by a feeling of joy and rejuvenation. This occasion provided a beacon of hope and solidarity as individuals joined together in prayer.

The Easter celebrations provided an opportunity for hospital staff and patients' families to gather, meditate, and pray for peace and healing. The participating priests underscored the importance of solidarity and spiritual connection in fostering hope and resilience during challenging times.
