MeDiaLiv (Metabolism, Diabetes, Liver) is a multidisciplinary metabolic center providing patient-centered care focused on three key areas:

• Metabolism: overweight, obesity, and metabolic syndrome
• Diabetes: personalized management of all forms of diabetes
• Liver: assessment and follow-up of metabolic liver diseases, particularly MASLD

With the increasing prevalence of obesity, these conditions represent a major public health challenge in Lebanon. Their interconnection requires a comprehensive approach that promotes both early risk detection and optimized care pathways.

Designed as a center of excellence within HDF, MeDiaLiv brings together clinical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies.

The care pathway is based on a comprehensive clinical assessment, complemented by body composition analysis, specialized laboratory investigations, and advanced diagnostic tools such as FibroScan and medical imaging.

Through close collaboration between endocrinologists, hepatologists, physical medicine physicians, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, and psychologists, each patient benefits from personalized, coordinated, and multidisciplinary care.
