Performing more than 1,000 operations each year, this departement developed into the largest of its kind in the country and is the regional leader in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery.

Our surgical team is currently composed of 6 surgeons offering a full complement of surgical interventions, dealing with the entire range of simple to ultra-complex diseases using the most up-to-date surgical therapy available.

The surgeons are teamed with 4 dedicated cardiac anesthesiologists, 5 pneumologists, 5 interventionnal radiologists and 10 cardiologists (including invasive adult and pediatric cardiology), with a full staff of professional nurses especially trained to care for adults and children undergoing cardiothoracic or vascular surgery.
